The Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) of the Ardennes told AFP that this man had been arrested.

He was "placed in police custody on the charge of violence without incapacity on a person responsible for a public service mission during a public demonstration", confirmed the public prosecutor of Charleville-Mézières, Magali Josse.
