Nitrous oxide is used as a cover for drug sales on social media

For two months, SVT Nyheter Västmanland has mapped the sale of nitrous oxide on social media.

In order to gain insight into the entire range, SVT's reporters Caroline Slotte and Susanna Ahnlund created a fake profile where they pretended to be a 16-year-old girl.

Through the profile, it was easy to get in touch with the nitrous oxide sellers, who in addition to nitrous oxide could also offer a string of drugs and other illegal products.

Here you can see two examples from when SVT meets nitrous oxide sellers in Västerås.

The accounts are located in large parts of Sweden, and orders can be delivered across the country.
