He said this in a written interview with journalist Nadana Friedrichson, published in her Telegram channel.

“We do not set ourselves any restrictions and, depending on the nature of the threats, we are ready to use all types of weapons,” the politician stressed.

Medvedev added that in the event of an attack, Russia's response would be quick, clear and convincing.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a trip to Volgograd, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad, said that Russia has something to answer those who threaten it. 

The press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitry Peskov, later clarified that Russia would make fuller use of its potential.
