“We made it clear to the Chinese side that this situation is unacceptable,” he said.
According to him, at the same time, Washington's approach to relations with China has not changed.
Earlier it became known that the US military has been tracking a suspected reconnaissance balloon over the north of the country for several days.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry later explained that the balloon did indeed come from China, but it was used for scientific research.
