During large parts of the day, a residential area in Söderhamn has been cordoned off and the police have carried out an extensive technical investigation.
- We are taking the usual measures.
That is, find any witnesses, knock on doors and carry out a technical investigation to secure any traces, says police spokesperson Pelle Vamstad.
Suspected murder
At 16.30 on Friday afternoon, the police write on their website that they suspect that the person found in the home was killed and have therefore started a preliminary investigation into suspected murder.
The police do not want to say whether there are any suspects in the murder.
Neighbors worried
Technicians have been on site during the day and the police have used drones and police dogs.
- It's nasty because you don't really know what has happened, says a neighbor in the area.
