Peskov said it was important not to forget Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement yesterday in Volgograd, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier, Putin, during a trip to Volgograd, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad, said that Russia has something to answer those who threaten it.

Peskov later clarified that Russia would make fuller use of its potential.

On February 3, US Department of Defense spokesman Patrick Ryder said that the United States, as part of a new military assistance package, would transfer GLSDB projectiles with a range of up to 150 km to Ukraine.
