This, according to CNN, became known during a meeting between US Attorney General Merrick Garland and his Ukrainian counterpart Andrei Kostin.

“Today I announce that I have authorized the first ever transfer of confiscated Russian assets for use in Ukraine,” Garland said.

We are talking about assets in the amount of $5.4 million.

“We are grateful to the United States for its determined efforts and support.

The Ukrainian people will never forget this,” Kostin said.

Earlier, the United States urged to monitor the investments of Russians in real estate for fear of circumventing sanctions.

It was also reported that the United States will transfer long-range GLSDB projectiles to Ukraine.
