Earlier, Blinken informed the Chinese authorities of the decision to postpone his visit to the country due to the situation with the alleged Chinese reconnaissance balloon found in American airspace.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry explained that the balloon did indeed come from China, but it is used for scientific research.
