The world-famous market attracts the Scanian Janpooo to Jokkmokk

During Thursday, Jokkmokk's market began.

Crowds of visitors showed up on the first day.

Among others Norwegian, Mariell Anti.

- It's great fun to be here and I love Sami art, so it's a given to travel here, she says, who traveled from Karasjok.

Lots of candy

For Ella Öhlund, who lives in Jokkmokk, the market is a chance to eat lots of sweets.

- The best thing is the sweets and that I get to eat in the middle of the week.

I love the blueberry straps, she says.
