RIA Novosti: British-trained Ukrainian soldiers surrendered after 20 minutes of the first battle

“We were taken prisoner on December 1, we were bypassed and our positions were stormed.

20 minutes of fighting - and we surrendered, ”said Kovalenko.

As RT previously learned, officers of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, known as the Black Cossacks, are fleeing Vugledar (DPR) and abandoning their subordinates against the backdrop of the Russian offensive.

According to the captive soldier of the 95th separate air assault brigade of the army of Ukraine Vitaliy Lishchuk, the Ukrainian military fired mortars at colleagues who decided to surrender.
