Ukrainians say that while they have the weapons and manpower to keep the Russians at bay, the former is not enough to launch their own full-scale counteroffensive.
Earlier, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, commenting on the possibility of delivering F-16 fighter jets to Kyiv, said that the United States is aimed at transferring to Ukraine the capabilities that are necessary for Ukrainian troops to be effective in a possible counteroffensive in the spring.
