It's Valentine's Day, the celebration of love and what could be better than a getaway for two for the occasion?

In "Bienfait pour vous", Gavin's Clemente-Ruiz, editor of the Guide du Routard, shares with Julia Vignali and Mélanie Gomez his most unusual ideas for taking his other half to a romantic place.

Valentine's Day is approaching and you don't know where to take your significant other?

Fortunately, France is home to more picturesque and romantic villages than the next, not to mention magnificent restaurants.

You are spoiled for choice, provided you know where to go.

To help you, Gavin's Clemente-Ruiz, from Guide du Routard, has made his selection in

Bienfait pour vous.

So take your half by the hand, and take her to discover these places worthy of a fairy tale.

Saint-Amour, its guest rooms and its "Paradise"

Head for Saint-Amour, a small village located in Burgundy where the columnist has unearthed the perfect bed and breakfast.

It has "old white stones, vegetation in front, a very comfortable room and a swimming pool" describes the travel expert, before revealing its name to us, up to our expectations: "My Room in Saint-Amour".

Now that you know where to stay, it remains to know where to share a candlelit dinner with your significant other.

And for that, you don't have to go far.

Also in Saint-Amour, "l'Auberge du Paradis" is a hotel-restaurant which houses tables of different styles.

If you are more into a family atmosphere, opt for the bistro "Joséphine à table" which bears the name of the owner's grandmother, "in memory of her generous little dishes, you know who is simmering and who is simmering".

And if you want to impress, the chic and gourmet restaurant "Lucienne fait des siennes" is the one for you.

You will have understood, to spin the perfect love, you have to go to... Saint-Amour.

A Valentine's Day at... Valentine's Day

We haven't forgotten the Saint-Valentin village in Indre, with which it is impossible not to fall madly in love.

Unusual but essential, a garden for lovers with a willow on which hearts hang not far from a kiosk for lovers.

But the real attraction is this wishing tree where you and your partner can tie a ribbon to seal your love.

Couldn't be more romantic!

For once, the columnist has thought of finding the best address for you when it's time for dinner, it's the restaurant "Au 14 Juillet" of starred chef Iku Negami.

On the menu: "Sologne caviar, if you like. Or quail with foie gras, Madeira and currants."

And if you want to escape abroad?

But how can we talk about romanticism without mentioning... Italy.

The columnist offers Mélanie Gomez and Julia Vignali to go to Verona, the city of "Romeo and Juliet".

Between Milan and Venice, Verona will amaze you with its vestiges of ancient times, its pedestrian streets paved with Renaissance marble and its gardens.

Ideal to enjoy February 14 in the sweetest atmosphere.

Good plan for you, the plane tickets are at 150 euros round trip at the moment with the low-cost company Volotea.

Finally, if you imagined a more exotic trip, Gavin's Clemente-Ruiz has an idea: Indonesia!

Despite a 16 hour flight to Bali, upon arrival you can soak your feet in translucent waters and fine white sand.

If you liked “Eat, Pray, Love” starring Julia Roberts, you'll love the central village of Ubud, where the actress was lucky enough to enjoy the verdant rice paddies during filming.

The "Kappa Senses Ubud" hotel complex, equipped with a spa and an infinity pool, will be the perfect place to relax, swim and daydream with your loved one!

Now you have no more excuses!
