Villière (12 selections), who has just resumed competition after two months off, only participated in part of the training session for the XV of France on Wednesday, five days before the duel in Italy.
Injured in a leg and a hand since November, he started Wednesday's session, the last high intensity for the Blues, with the chasuble of the probable holders but he stopped during training, visibly hit in an ankle .
In competition with the Lyonnais Ethan Dumortier, top try scorer in the Top 14, Villière was recalled on Sunday to prepare for the trip to Italy, having only played two matches with the RCT this season.
Dumortier (21) could therefore honor his first selection against Italy.
In addition to Villière, the management of the Blues released the third lines François Cros (Toulouse) and Dylan Cretin (Lyon), the winger Matthis Lebel (Toulouse) or the opener from La Rochelle Antoine Hastoy.

The composition of the XV of France will be announced Friday at noon.
The team expected to start the match on Sunday (4:00 p.m.) at the Stadio Olimpico trained in a classic formation, at the municipal stadium of Capbreton, under the eyes of French surfer Jérémy Flores.
In the front row, coach Fabien Galthié should line up the Baille-Marchand-Atonio trio in front of the Willemse-Flament duo, the third row being made up of Jelonch, Ollivon and Alldritt.
The hinge, formed by Antoine Dupont and Romain Ntamack, is really beyond doubt.
The Clermontois Damian Penaud (26 years old, 37 sel.), spared Tuesday, should be well positioned on the wing.
The pair of centers was made up of Racingman Gaël Fickou and Bordeaux-Bègles player Yoram Moefana, again unsurprisingly, the Toulousain Thomas Ramos ensuring the position of N.15.
