Suspected weapon found at school in Skogås

At 16:00 on Wednesday, the police were called to the scene after information that there may have been a weapon in a sand container.

- An initial assessment is that it is a copy of the weapon, a so-called replica and that it is not functional, but the weapon will still be examined more closely and it has been seized, says Towe Hägg, press spokesperson at the police.

According to information to Aftonbladet, the suspected weapon must have links to the previous shooting death of a 15-year-old boy in the area.

The police state that they will investigate any possible connections.
