Electric car owner Margareta Marcusson was out on Sunday looking for a charging station with fast chargers to charge the car.

Margareta was first surprised when she could see many free chargers when she drove around Lidingö, where she lives.

But the happiness was short-lived when she noticed that the cables had been cut.

- It was not a fun Sunday.

It wasn't that cold anyway and it worked out in the end, but that day went by, she says.

Several companies were affected

Within twenty minutes, Johan Hellberg, business area manager for charging services at Nacka Energi, could see how two charging stations stopped working.

- I got worried and went out and checked, says Johan Hellberg, whose original thought was that someone wanted to fight.

When he arrived, he saw that the fast charging cables had been cut.

He cannot answer why anyone would want to take the charging cables with them.

Admittedly, they contain copper, but not in any large amount, so it is not a given that it was what they were looking for, reasons Johan Hellberg.

The incidents have been reported to the police.
