German authorities are negotiating with several defense companies, according to Bloomberg.
“The goal of Germany is to build a modern anti-missile shield and integrate it into the project to create a new European Sky Shield initiative,” the report says.
It is noted that the cost of the missile system may be changed as negotiations continue.
Earlier, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Leopard will begin soon.
It was also reported that in Germany, two retired generals called on colleagues who disagree with the authorities to speak out and maintain peace with Russia.
