A man has become

a hero in Seville

by saving two minors from the flames of a fire declared in an apartment on Calle Moguer, in La Macarena.

In the videos that circulate on social networks and that Canal Sur collects, you can see how a man who lived in the building climbs up the facade and manages to get two minors out of the burning house.

With the help of the children's father, he managed to get the children out of the window and to a safe place, and shortly after, the father jumped onto a mattress that had been put on the floor.

The man's name is Jairo and in statements to Antena 3 he has assured that when he found out what was happening he ran away.

"In the place there were people but nobody did anything," he recalls.

15 affected by the fire

The fire resulted in a total of 15 people affected, including a man injured by burns and broken legs and four minors intoxicated by smoke inhalation, according to Europa Press.

Sources from the 112 emergency service in Andalusia reported that around 6:04 p.m. on Monday afternoon several people warned of the fire in the house and that there were several affected people trapped inside the property, including minors.

Until there, members of the Local Police, the National Police, the firefighters and the 061, which moved two ambulances to the scene of the events, traveled.

The mayor of Seville, Antonio Muñoz, also went there.
