Former Congressman Yoo Seung-min, who had been struggling with whether to run for the People's Power Party representative election, eventually declared that he would not run.

Former lawmaker Seung-min Yoo said on his social media that he had concluded that there was no point in appearing in this election, and that he would be patient and wait for the right time.

It is the declaration of non-running by former lawmaker Seung-min Yoo, who has kept the anti-yun line against the pro-Yun faction in check, and the declaration of non-running following former lawmaker Na Gyeong-won.

Former Congressman Yoo Seung-min has officially announced that he will not run for the People's Power National Convention to be held on March 8th.

Former Rep. Yoo posted a post on his Facebook page at around 9:30 am today (31st), saying that he had thought enough and concluded that he had no meaning, saying that he would wait patiently.

Former Congressman Yoo also said that he would fulfill his calling to prevent tyranny and protect the democratic republic, which is interpreted as actually criticizing the current government.

Regarding the next step, he added that he would work with citizens who want change and innovation, saying that he would pioneer a new path by looking only at public sentiment.

Former Congressman Yoo has been classified as a leading party runner, but has received strong criticism from the so-called pro-Yun faction in the party, pouring out sharp remarks toward the government.

In the process of changing the rules of the party convention, the conflict with the pro-Yun forces was further heightened, and many observed that the method of electing a representative only by voting by party members was realistically difficult to win even if former Congressman Yoo ran.

As former lawmaker Na Gyeong-won and former lawmaker Yoo declared non-running one after another, in this People’s Power party representative election, the Yanggang structure between lawmakers Kim Ki-hyun and Ahn Cheol-soo became more solid.
