Last Wednesday, several establishments of the Ramsay Santé group were the target of a cyberattack, including the private hospital Jean-Mermoz in Lyon and the private hospital of Est Lyonnais, in Saint-Priest, reports

In a statement, the group said that "the security procedure was immediately triggered" and that "no data theft or any case of the incident spreading to our patients" had been noted.

The investigations are continuing, in collaboration with the State services, further specifies Ramsay Health.

Slowdowns in the care of patients in the hospital

Faced with this attempted intrusion by IT services, precautionary measures were taken and maintained until the beginning of this week, in particular at the Jean-Mermoz hospital.

The emergencies were closed until Tuesday, the complete hospitalizations in surgery on Monday and Tuesday have been postponed.

In August 2019, the 120 establishments of Ramsay Santé de France were affected by a cyberattack with consequences that lasted for several weeks.
