Head of UJR: no documents on exclusion from the International Federation of Journalists have been received

Earlier, Reuters reported that the International Federation of Journalists allegedly initiated exclusion from its membership of the Russian Union of Journalists.

“We are in contact with the leadership of the International Federation, and so far there have been no such, so to speak, statements addressed to us,” RIA Novosti quoted Solovyov as saying.

In December, the Union of Journalists of Russia announced that it would appeal to all international journalistic and human rights organizations because of the decision of the Moldovan authorities to close six Russian-language channels.
