A scooter theft was prevented by two police officers from the Anti-Crime Squad, this Sunday early evening in Avignon (Vaucluse).

Two teenagers aged 15 and 16 were arrested in flagrante delicto, reports

A third fled on an unregistered scooter.

The police finally managed to catch up with him but one of them was injured in a leg during the arrest.

The suspect, an adult, explained that he fled because he was driving a stolen scooter.

He assured not to have voluntarily hit the policeman.

For these facts, he will be tried next October.

The two teenagers arrested will appear in March in court for theft and concealment.
