Acting Head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin commented on the statement by Admiral Rob Bauer, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, that the North Atlantic Alliance is ready for a direct confrontation with Russia.

“We saw an increase in the military presence of NATO countries near the Russian borders long before the start of a special military operation.

NATO has been involved in the conflict from the very beginning and every day more and more openly demonstrates its presence.

We see the supply of weapons to Ukraine, the rearmament and training of the forces of the North Atlantic Alliance, the deployment of new combat groups in the southeast of Europe and the Baltic states, ”Pushilin said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

In his opinion, Russia remains for the United States "a key adversary in the matter of global leadership", so Washington will take any steps to weaken Moscow, including at the expense of its allies in Europe.

Earlier, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin noted that in the nine years since the coup d'etat, the United States and NATO have turned Ukraine into "a testing ground for testing their weapons and testing new ways of waging war."

At the same time, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov emphasized that Moscow does not need anything from the West: “We want to be left alone.

But NATO, for its part, with maniacal persistence, consistently crawled up to the Russian borders.

In turn, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov stated that Brussels had stopped "any substantive contacts with our country."

On January 27, the head of the NATO military committee, Rob Bauer, also said that Western countries should continue to support Ukraine, since if Russia wins, the alliance “will face a much larger problem.”

Poroshenko's confession

Another direct participant in the signing of the Minsk agreements confirmed that the document was aimed at giving Ukraine time to arm.

This was announced by the former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in the BBC documentary "Putin vs. the West".

Krasnolimanskoye direction of NVO

Ukrainian saboteurs made an unsuccessful attempt to attack the positions of Russian troops in the Krasnolimansky direction, said retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko.
