Volodin held talks with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov

According to RT Arabic, Volodin and Berdimuhamedov discussed issues of cooperation between the parliaments of Russia and Turkmenistan.

The Chairman of the State Duma noted the need to develop the parliamentary dimension for the legislative support of decisions taken at the level of the leadership of our states.

Volodin also conveyed warm greetings to the head of Turkmenistan from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The delegation of the State Duma headed by Volodin arrived in the capital of Turkmenistan the day before.

The delegation includes representatives of relevant committees of the State Duma.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed by telephone with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.
