After several months of continuous growth, LCI, the news channel of the TF1 group, particularly at the forefront of the conflict in Ukraine, saw its audience share (PDA) soar over one year by 0.8 points, to set at 2%.

It is on the heels of its competitor CNews (+0.1 point to 2.2%).

BFMTV retains the top ranking of news channels (-0.1 point in one year to 2.7%) while franceinfo brings up the rear (-0.1 point to 0.7%).

Another channel with the wind in its sails in January: C8, the generalist channel of the Canal+ group, which can count as an audience driver on its host Cyril Hanouna and the multiple controversies surrounding his program "Touche pas à mon poste".

In one year, C8 has increased by 0.5 points to 3.4% of PDA in January, and beats its rival TMC (TF1 group), whose flagship program is "Daily".

However, TMC is also progressing (+0.3 points to 3.2%).

It is however higher than those of September and October 2022 during which its audience had fallen to the lowest (17.7%) due to its dispute with Canal +, which had cut its signal.

The TF1 group channels (TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Series, LCI) total 26.1% audience share compared to 25.8% in January 2022.

Also losing momentum, M6 (-0.5 point to 8.2%) as well as its channels W9 (-0.3 point to 2.3%) and Gulli (-0.2 point to 1%).
