Due to shortcomings in the care of the residents, Attendo's special residence at Terra Nova in Visby has had a stop on admissions since September 2022.

But on Monday, Region Gotland, which procured the care places, announced that the stop is being lifted.

- We see a different and improved situation at the accommodation today and that Attendo takes responsibility for the quality and continues to work according to its action plan.

That's why we are lifting the admission freeze, says social director Marica Gardell in a press release.

From 1 February, those waiting in line to move to special housing can choose Attendo Terra Nova as an alternative again, Region Gotland announces.
