The head of government spoke about this at a meeting with vice-premiers.

“The government is extending the program for subsidizing flights on socially significant routes in the Far East for another three years,” RIA Novosti quotes him.

According to him, over 350 thousand people used the corresponding program last year, and the number of routes was almost doubled to 37.

Earlier, the Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Alexei Chekunkov, spoke about the development of transport accessibility in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District.
