The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Kupyansk direction inflicted fire damage on the manpower and equipment of the units of the 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of which more than 35 Ukrainian servicemen, an armored combat vehicle and two vehicles were destroyed.
This was announced during a briefing by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, up to 40 military personnel, four armored combat vehicles and three vehicles of units of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade were liquidated by artillery fire.
More than 70 Ukrainian servicemen, one tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, two pickup trucks, two Grad MLRS combat vehicles, a D-30 howitzer and a US-made AN/TPQ counter-battery radar were destroyed in the Donetsk direction during active offensive operations by the Southern Group of Forces. 50.
In the Kherson direction, as part of a counter-battery fight, one Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount was disabled and a depot with artillery ammunition was destroyed.
In the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the units of the Vostok group of forces during the offensive took more advantageous positions in the area of Vuhledar and inflicted fire damage on the units of the 1st Tank Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade.
“The total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in these areas per day amounted to: up to 25 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, a D-20 howitzer, two D-30 howitzers, and a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount,” Konashenkov said.
Operational-tactical aviation, missile forces and artillery defeated 73 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at firing positions, as well as manpower and military equipment in 138 districts.
A Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force, as well as two unmanned aerial vehicles and four rockets of the HIMARS and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems were shot down by means of air defense in the Novodarovka area of the Zaporozhye region.
In addition, two US-made HARM anti-radar missiles were intercepted.
