It was Tuesday, January 24, that the man was found in the middle of a road in Lainio.
The villagers who found him tried a defibrillator and Ulf Henricsson tried CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
- I blew in his mouth and we continued for probably 20 minutes but never got his pulse going, says Ulf Henricson to SVT.
The incident shakes the village
On Sunday, the police arrested a 45-year-old man in Pajala municipality.
He is currently under arrest, on probable cause, on suspicion of murder.
According to the police, the suspected perpetrator and the victim were familiar with each other.
