According to representatives of Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, farmers in these countries are facing problems due to the fact that imports of agricultural products from Ukraine are only growing.

Delegations from these countries asked to pay compensation to the affected farmers and to use Brussels' "flexible approach" to the implementation of the EU agricultural policy.

In early January, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said that since the start of the grain deal, about 17 million tons of agricultural products have been exported through the sea gum corridor.
