In December, the renovation of Järntorget was completed and Norra Västmanland's municipal engineering association, NVK, was ready to begin the design of Brinelltorget.
But just before the turn of the year, the council decided, when adopting the investment budget, to prioritize Vilhelminaparken first.

The proposal: No new dam
SVT Nyheter Västmanland has previously reported on an e-proposal from a Fagerstabo which involves restoring the dam that was previously in the park.
On Tuesday, the municipal board will make a decision on this, but the municipal board's working committee suggests rejecting the e-proposal, citing that an overall plan is being drawn up for the park.
- But in the working committee's proposal, we have said that some form of water can absolutely be an element of the park, says Åsa-Märta Sjöström (S).
