A passerby would have seen a man defenestrate his dog from the 5th floor of a building.

The animal could, most likely, be euthanized in order to end its suffering.
For abuse and acts of cruelty on a domestic animal, the suspect risks three years in prison and five years if the animal were to die and up to 75,000 euros in fines.
