Yemen.. Foiling Houthi infiltration attempts in Taiz, Lahj and Marib

The Yemeni army forces and the resistance thwarted an infiltration attempt by Houthi terrorist militia members towards their positions in the north of the city of Taiz, according to the media center of the Taiz axis, indicating that an infiltration attempt by the militias towards the "Usayfra" front was accompanied by tank shelling for the first time since the armistice was approved in April 2022.

The sources confirmed that the Houthi militia bombed Asifah in Taiz with tanks and heavy artillery stationed in Taba Sofitel, east of Taiz, and a number of shells hit residential neighborhoods in the area.

In Lahj, the militias continued their violent bombardment of the positions of the joint and southern forces and civilian objects, on the fronts in the north of the governorate, adjacent to Taiz governorate, according to field sources, confirming the continued escalation of the militias towards the areas of Tur Al-Baha, Haifan, and Arim, north of Lahj.

The sources indicated that the Houthi operations continued towards the Hamala front in the Hawamrah Bakrish sector, and the Habil Al-Mismir front, using marches to bomb those areas, which left two dead and four wounded among the civilians and the forces stationed in the area.

In Marib, the militias bombed yesterday the positions of the army and the resistance in the locations of Al-Akd, and the eastern Balak area, in the sandy axis of the Al-Juba district, in the south of the governorate, which prompted the forces to respond to the sources of fire and silence them.

On the western coast, field sources confirmed that the militias had established three combat sites in the districts of al-Tuhayta and al-Jarrahi, south of Hodeidah, while taking naval measures to respond to government moves to prevent arms smuggling.

Shipping sources stated that the militias have established specialized naval units to facilitate smuggling of weapons on the Yemeni coast, with the support of foreign navigation experts, as well as the establishment of a communications network to guide smugglers towards safe areas.

The Yemeni government had taken strict measures to prevent arms smuggling to the Houthi militia, against the backdrop of seizing last week's shipment of marches that were on their way to the Houthis.

In Saada, one of the abductees died in the Houthi prisons, as a result of the torture he was subjected to in prison a month after his abduction, according to local sources, confirming the death of the abducted Yahya Hammush, from the al-Jamalah area of the Majz district, under torture a month after he was kidnapped by the Houthis.

In Sana'a, the Houthi militia began a new phase of subjugating government institutions and departments, in favor of its terrorist ideology and approach, by launching what it called "service development", aimed at dismissing more employees and appointing its members as their successors.

A source in the civil service in Sana'a stated that the militias began liquidating employees whom they said were employed in a moody manner, ignoring what their members have been doing since their coup against the state and appointing their members to high positions.

During the past few days, the militias have dismissed thousands of employees of the security services, and have tried others with the aim of liquidating them in order to appoint their own members in their place.

On the other hand, the militias continued to take measures against women, which exceed those followed by the Taliban movement in Afghanistan, according to local sources, confirming the imposition of Houthi measures against women that prevent their movement within the cities under the control of the militias without a male guardian.

And she stressed that it is forbidden for women who drive cars to go to repair shops, change oils, plumbing, or any public area with a Mahram, or be kidnapped and transferred to sectarian detention areas where they are indoctrinated with the ideology of the terrorist group.
