1. Cases
On January 26, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had 215,958 hospitalized cases of new coronavirus infection, and 26,156 severe cases, including 1,894 severe cases of new coronavirus infection and severe basic diseases combined with new coronavirus infection 24262 cases.
From January 20 to 26, medical institutions in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps accumulatively had 6,364 deaths related to COVID-19 infection in hospital, of which 289 died of respiratory failure caused by COVID-19 infection, combined with underlying diseases 6,075 deaths from the new coronavirus infection.
2. Vaccination status
As of January 26, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps have reported a total of 3,489,746,000 doses of the new crown virus vaccine, with a total of 1,310,207,000 people who have been vaccinated, and 1,276,549,000 people who have completed the full course of vaccination. 826.583 million people were immunized.
Among them, the elderly over the age of 60 reported a total of 678.224 million doses of the new crown virus vaccine, the total number of vaccinations was 241.611 million, 230.127 million people completed the full vaccination, and 192.227 million people completed the first dose of booster immunization.
