A special evaluation, based on 450 interviews, to find out why the information efforts did not reach - has been started.

Karin Back is a strategist for social sustainability at Halmstad municipality and has worked with electoral support work in Andersberg and Vallås from spring 2022 until the election.

She believes that the evaluation carried out by the municipality shows that the information campaign has reached its full potential, and that some report that they would not have voted without the information campaign.

"Must keep working"

- It would have looked even worse if we had not made these efforts.

It is work that we must continue to work on, we are absolutely not satisfied with this development, she says.

The main reason why they chose not to vote, according to those who participated in the survey, is that they do not trust politicians.

- The politicians say a lot but don't keep what they say, that's a problem, says Andersberg resident Zdenka Zunic, who states that she did not vote in the election.
