The support center is run by both the Västerås city mission and the association Together we make a difference and consists of a room where Ukrainians have come to get clothes, toys, hygiene items, bicycles and household items.

In the past, the center has been financed with funds collected from foundations, the public and business.

Get 720,000 kroner

Västerås municipality is now allocating an additional SEK 720,000 to the operation.

- It means an awful lot to the target group who still have a great need for the centre.

For us, it means a lot that the cooperation with the city is strengthened and that we work together around the target group, says Emma Sohlberg, director at Västerås city mission.

In the clip below, two employees from the center tell more about how it works in the store.
