It has once again made its pro-Russian stance clear, saying that any armed equipment will be burned by the might of the Russian army.

North Korea, through a statement in the name of Kim Yo-jong, Vice Minister of the Workers' Party of Korea, criticized the United States for its decision to supply tanks to Ukraine, which is at war with Russia.

Kim Yeo-jung said that the US support for tanks is to make confrontation with Russia more explicit, and that she strongly condemns the US' actions that escalate the war situation.

At the same time, she argued, the tank support underlies the US's desire to achieve hegemonic ends by further escalating a proxy war to destroy Russia.

It is alleged that the United States is responsible for worsening the regional situation in relation to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Kim Yeo-jung argued that the United States and Western countries that provide arms to Ukraine have no right to dispute the sovereign state's right to self-defence, and that any armed equipment from the United States or the West will be burned to pieces before the might of the Russian military.

North Korea also reaffirmed its anti-US and pro-Russian stance, saying that it will always stand in the same trench as the Russian military and people.

Earlier, US President Biden announced that he would support 31 M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine through a speech on the 25th.

Kim Yeo-jung did not take any stance on the suspicion that North Korea supplied weapons to a Russian private mercenary company.

This discourse is interpreted as an attempt to refute the international community's criticism of North Korea's support for Russia with criticism of US policy.
