Greek Defense Minister spoke about the exchange of Soviet BMP-1 for German Marder

On January 9, Panayotopoulos had a telephone conversation with German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht, during which the parties discussed the implementation of Greece's deliveries of BMP-1 armored infantry vehicles to Ukraine, replacing them with German Marder armored vehicles.

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov stressed that the supply of arms by the West to Ukraine will fundamentally change nothing.
