The UAE mission to the United Nations said that the UAE, China and France requested an emergency closed meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the recent developments in the city and camp of Jenin in the West Bank in the Palestinian territories.

On Thursday, the mission said on Twitter: "The UAE, China and France have called on the Security Council to hold an emergency closed meeting tomorrow on the latest developments in Jenin."
