“We agreed to assist in the exchange of lists of the seriously wounded, subject to repatriation, to assist the competent authorities in the return of citizens subject to deportation,” the message says.

Moskalkova noted that the Russian Ministry of Defense and Russian special services are of key importance in taking action on all issues.

She also added that thanks to the joint negotiations between the two ombudsmen, a number of issues have already been resolved.

It is noted that this time the meeting was attended by Chief Ombudsman of Turkey Sheref Malkoch.

Earlier, Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova asked the ICRC to intensify work on visiting captured Russians in Ukraine.
