Deputy Emmanuel Pellerin, at the center of accusations of drug use revealed by Mediapart, announced Thursday his "withdrawal" from the Renaissance group in the Assembly, as well as from the presidential party which planned to exclude him.
In an article published on Wednesday, Mediapart assures that Emmanuel Pellerin "consumed cocaine before and after his election to the Assembly last June" and that "confronted with our elements, he recognized this illegal use".
“I have decided to withdraw from the life of my political group and the Renaissance party”, writes the deputy of Hauts-de-Seine in a press release published on his Twitter account.
On Wednesday, the Renaissance party had let it be known that it would examine the exclusion of Emmanuel Pellerin during its executive office which meets on Monday.
