This is reported by the Axios portal, citing sources.

According to them, Israel purchased Hawk air defense systems from the United States back in the 60s of the XX century.

At the same time, about ten years ago, the systems were decommissioned by the Israeli army.

It is noted that Israel now stores about ten Hawk batteries with hundreds of missiles to intercept.

Also, US representatives addressed such requests to other countries that have the Hawk system.

Earlier, The New York Times, citing American and Israeli officials, wrote that the Pentagon was using the stock of American ammunition in warehouses in Israel to supply 155-mm shells to Ukraine.
