According to the Russian minister, the king received a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin that he was expected in St. Petersburg. 

“In July, as I said, the second Russia-Africa summit will be held in St. Petersburg.

The first summit, which was held in October 2019 in Sochi, was attended by His Majesty the King of Eswatini, and he is invited to the upcoming event in St. Petersburg, ”TASS quotes him.

Lavrov said this at a press conference following talks with his colleague from Eswatini Thuli Dladla.

Earlier, Lavrov expressed hope that the second Russia-Africa summit would take relations with the continent to new frontiers.
