Once again sanctioned by the European Union and the United Kingdom for human rights violations, Iran announced on Tuesday 24 January that it was going to take reciprocal measures.
Iran "strongly condemns" these sanctions and "will soon announce the list of new sanctions" which will target individuals or entities "violating human rights or promoting terrorism" in Europe and the United Kingdom, the Foreign Ministry spokesman said in a statement.
