After more than 5 years of planning and construction in this hot spot, the urban framework has been fully opened, more than 3,500 buildings have sprung up, and the cumulative investment has exceeded 510 billion yuan. Today, the main infrastructure of the start-up area of the new district has been basically completed.
Since 2022, 142 new construction projects have started construction, and the embryonic form of the new district has initially emerged.

"Come home, it's hot, everything is convenient!" Resident Liu Shuangquan greeted with a smile.
The thermometer at the door showed that the room temperature was 23 degrees Celsius, and the longevity flowers in the living room were in full bloom.
Liu Shuangquan's hometown is Xilijie Village, Anxin County, Hebei Province.
After the establishment of the new district, the yard on Xili Street will be requisitioned for road construction.
"We are getting old, and we are reluctant to part with the bricks and tiles of our hometown. When we first heard that we were going to move to the city, we were worried that we would not be familiar with the place, so we hesitated." Liu Shuangquan said.
In September 2022, Liu Shuangquan got the keys to the new house, opened the door and took a look: the well-decorated two-bedroom, one living room, stove, water heater, etc. are all complete, and you can move in with your bags.

Before the Spring Festival this year, Liu Shuangquan moved into a new home.
On the day of the move, Wang Yuqi came to the door and left contact information with him.
Not long ago, Liu Shuangquan and his wife went back to the village to fetch things.
Wang Yuqi was worried that the heater was leaking, so she helped them close the valve tightly, then remembered that there were flowers on the balcony, fearing that it would be damaged by the frost, so she opened the valve a little more.
"This daughter is so careful, and my family is just like this." Liu Shuangquan muttered, "The heating in my hometown is only 15 degrees Celsius at most. The new home is really warm, and my heart is warm!"
The children who work in Anxin County are worried that the old couple will not adapt to life in the new home, so they rush here specially. Unexpectedly, their parents are familiar with the community.
"There are parks, bus stops, and community health service centers at the entrance of the community." Liu Shuangquan joked with his son, "Wang Yuqi in the community is just like her own daughter. She can be there with just a phone call, which is better than you!" Laughed.
In the past two years, about 120,000 people have moved into Rongdong, Xiongdong, and Rongxi areas, and the supporting facilities and public services in the resettlement areas have been gradually improved.

The start-up area is the main battlefield for the construction of the Xiongan New Area, and there are new changes every day.
The "four major systems" of urban construction, such as peripheral roads around the city, internal backbone road networks, ecological corridors, and urban water systems, have basically taken shape, and the construction of functional areas is being accelerated.
"The project is doing underground structure construction, and the work will not stop during the Spring Festival. More than 100 people stick to their posts." Against the cold wind, the reporter walked into the construction site of Sinochem Headquarters 001 Building New District. Sun Dongdong, the owner's engineering director, said while rubbing his hands: " The company's headquarters plans to move from Beijing to Xiong'an by the end of 2025. The construction period is reversed, and the project will rush out of the ground in the first half of the year."
Why is it called 001 Building?
Sinochem Holdings Co., Ltd. is the first batch of state-owned enterprises to be transferred to the new area. Its headquarters is located at No. 001, the start-up area of the new area. Construction will start in April 2022.
In the former Dahe Village, a 150-meter central enterprise headquarters building is rising and is expected to become a landmark building in the start-up area.
Looking around a radius of 1 kilometer, China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., China Satellite Network Group Co., Ltd. and other first batch of central enterprise headquarters are under construction.
Walking into the adjacent Internet Industrial Park, the first phase of China Telecom Smart City Industrial Park is about to be unveiled.
Buildings 8 and 10 have been capped, and the above-ground part of Building 9 has been more than half completed.
"We are the first batch of market-oriented deconstruction projects, and we plan to move into office by the end of 2023." Li Erhui, the engineering manager of the project, said, "The second phase will start this year, and investment promotion will start first, with priority for decommissioning enterprises in Beijing."
Not far away, there are also the first batch of market-oriented deconstruction projects. The machines on the construction sites of China Unicom and China Mobile are roaring and welding flowers are flickering.
It is the mission of Xiong'an New Area in the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei to build Beijing's non-capital function dispersal and centralized bearing area.
2022 will be the first year that the central enterprises and market-oriented enterprises will start construction in Xiongan: the headquarters of China Mineral Resources Group Co., Ltd., established in July, has completed the site selection; Drive the clustering of industrial chains and supply chains... At present, central enterprises have set up more than 140 institutions of various types in Xiong'an.

"Wild ducks! There are a lot of them!" Several tourists visited Baiyangdian during the Chinese New Year and found a flock of birds looking for food.
"That's called a gray crane. It's a 'new friend' that has appeared here in recent years. There are estimated to be 100 of them." Zhang Xuenong, vice president of the Anxin County Bird Watching and Love Bird Association, grew up near Baiyangdian and has been photographing birds in Baiyangdian for more than 10 years.
"The 'new friends' who came to Baiyangdian include gray cranes and pochards." Standing by the lake, Zhang Xuenong played back the camera photos and introduced to the reporter.
In 2022, rangers discovered a never-before-seen bird in Baiyangdian Lake. According to expert identification, it is a national first-level key protected animal, the pochard.
Known as the "giant panda among birds", the pochard is a critically endangered species that is very picky about its ecological environment.
In the same area, a brood of pochards was also found, with 9 fluffy baby ducks. "They have settled in Baiyangdian, and they did not pass by by accident," Zhang Xuenong said.
In July 2022, Baiyangdian designated 9 important bird habitats and banned hunting in the whole area.
"Nowadays, people's awareness of environmental protection has generally increased, and they all understand that they must love and protect birds." Han Zhanqiao, a bird-loving volunteer, patrolled as usual during the Spring Festival. More and more birds have settled here, from migratory birds to resident birds.”
At present, a total of 248 species of wild birds have been discovered in Baiyangdian, 42 more than before the establishment of the new area, and 11 new species will be discovered in 2022 alone.
Among them, there are 193 species of birds with ecological value, scientific value and social value.
Green is the background color for high-quality development.
The restoration and protection of the Baiyangdian ecological environment is one of the key indicators for the success of the construction of the new district.
Since the establishment of the new area more than five years ago, the water quality of Baiyangdian Lake has gradually improved from the inferior V level before the establishment of the new area through integrated promotion of water replenishment, pollution control, and flood control, and it has become one of the best lakes in the country for the first time.
This Spring Festival, the fourth phase of the Baiyangdian Ecological Dredging Project is grabbing the golden construction period of winter and spring, and strives to complete it by the end of April this year.
Water areas expand, wetlands increase, fish recover, birds increase, and ecology improves.
"Baiyangdian is moving from water quality improvement to water ecological environment improvement," said Wu Haimei, deputy director of the Xiong'an New Area Ecological Environment Bureau.
An ecological picture scroll of intertwined blue and green, fresh and bright, and harmonious integration of water and city is slowly unfolding.
