Wall Street Journal: US should send Abrams tanks to Taiwan, not Ukraine

The journalist called Ukraine an example of the failure of the containment policy, and also added that Taiwan now plays a more important role in ensuring the security and well-being of the United States.

“All the tanks that we can allocate should go to Taipei,” RIA Novosti quoted Samet as saying.

The observer concludes that supplying tanks to Ukraine would be a mistake.

The White House previously noted that the United States authorities have not yet made a final decision on the possibility of sending the Ukrainian army of Abrams tanks.
