The gang of friends, consisting of Filip, Leon, Carl, Adam, James and Lowe, usually hang out at the ruin by the harbor in Åhus.
- We saw that there was a child and an elderly man in the water.
We just want to get them up as quickly as possible, says 12-year-old Filip Malmberg.
The little girl had fallen into the water and her grandfather tried to save her.
The friends cooperated and managed to get the little child and her grandfather up, while one of the boys called 112.
- It was a nervous wait until the ambulance arrived, says Filip Malmberg.
