The Danish-Swedish far-right politician Rasmus Paludan's burning of the Koran near the Turkish embassy in Stockholm arouses anger in Turkey.

Several protests have been held over the weekend.

The protests have been organized by Islamist organizations, but Paludan's action has also been widely condemned politically, says SVT's Turkey correspondent Tomas Thorén.

- The common man in Turkey is upset by seeing the images and finds it difficult to understand that this is an action that is protected by the Swedish police.

There is partly anger at seeing their holy scriptures being burned, partly anger towards Sweden as a nation.
