“The project will link Spain, Portugal and France with Germany, which will become a partner in this infrastructure strategy for hydrogen,” RIA Novosti quotes the French leader.

At the end of 2022, France, Spain and Portugal signed an agreement to create a green corridor to replace the MidCat gas pipeline.

According to the plans of the project, this pipeline should allow the supply of gas and hydrogen from Barcelona to Marseille, thus opening access to the countries of the Iberian Peninsula to the energy market of the European Union.
