6 additional classified documents were found in the US President's home

US Department of Justice investigators found six classified documents when searching President Joe Biden's home in Delaware, according to his lawyer.

Some of the documents found in Biden's home date back to the period when he was a US senator.

Others date back to his tenure as Vice President.

Biden's attorney, Bob Bauer, said investigators took with them "personal handwritten notes and other materials that were found at the same location."

The inspection took place on Friday, in the absence of Biden and his wife.

"The President authorized the Department of Justice to enter his home to search the entire building for records from his time as Vice President and any possible classified materials," Bauer said in a statement released yesterday.
