In China, it is a traditional custom to drive away bad luck with fireworks and binge drinking, but firecracker sales have been banned in large cities since 2017 due to fire and air pollution problems.



In addition, over the past three years, crackdowns have been further strengthened for the reason of quarantine for Corona 19, but this year has changed dramatically.



The policy was secretly changed when public opinion that it was necessary to relieve public sentiment tired of long-term high-intensity control was unusual.



Beijing city and surroundings are still completely banned by putting up banners prohibiting firecrackers here and there, but in many other regions, the policy has changed to partial permission.
